According to the European Cosmetic Directive an expiration date is not required for Goldwell hair color products as these products are stable for more than 30 months.

I like to have your opinion on my Goldwell 8NN color to cover my white roots. I have been using 8NN with 9% (30 vol) Topchic Deleveloper lotion. The color is always good. As I am getting older, I color my roots more ofter, every 21/2 to 3 weeks. I only do the roots, not all my hair, since I have some hightlights. I am wondering if I should change the developer percentage and if so, what percentage I should use to keep my hair healthy.I look for forward to hear back from a professional.

Dear Goldwell Colorist, What volume is the best Goldwell developer to color the gray in my hair? Also, can you tell what color this is in the photos attached. I know it was two Goldwell tubs used. It colored my gray completely and is a beautiful natural warm brown. What colors do I mix to achieve this color? Please advise the best you can. I have thick healthy natural gray hair. I condition it often, and color it every other month. Thanks you. Sharon.

I am sorry, Sharon. I cannot see you photo. I recommend that you try referring to the color chart to choose a shade or a combination. I use the 20 volume in most cases and it seems to work well for covering grey. I have red hair and use both 6KG and 7KG in equal amounts. Goldwell reds are the best I have seen. I also begin at the front and let the color work a little longer in the problem areas. It is hard to over process. I have left it on as long as 45 minutes with no issues. I hope this helps.

Hi, you and sound very much the same! I\'ve been using 6K Copper Brilliant and use TopChic 6% 20 Volume in a 1:1 ratio. I get good color that stays pretty well, and only do I the roots every 3-4 weeks because of grow-out. Sometimes, I color completely about 3 or 4 times a year to boost all over color. Good Luck!
