Z Palette Square Metal Pans are designed with a universal magnetic base that works with most pressed eyeshadows and pigments. They're compatible with products from MAC, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and many indie brands. However, some loose pigments or cream products may require a mixing medium or base before depotting. We recommend testing compatibility with your specific products before depotting.
To depot safely, gently warm the back of your pressed eyeshadow pan using a heat source like a lighter or hair dryer for 10-15 seconds until the glue softens. Use a flat tool or spatula to carefully lift the shadow from its original pan. Place it into your Z Palette Square Metal Pan and press firmly to secure it to the magnetic base. Always work slowly to avoid breaking the product.
Z Palette Square Metal Pans come in standard square sizes that fit most Z Palette refillable palettes. The pans measure approximately 26mm x 26mm, which accommodates most standard pressed eyeshadows and powders. They're designed to be customizable, so you can arrange them however you'd like within your palette layout.
