AG Welding Paste is formulated with a proprietary blend of polymers and resins designed for maximum hold without flaking. The formula is free from parabens and sulfates, making it suitable for most skin types. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin or known allergies to styling products, we recommend performing a patch test on a small area first. Start with a pea-sized amount for short hair and a nickel-sized amount for longer or thicker hair. Work the paste through damp or dry hair using your fingers or a comb, focusing on areas needing the most hold. You can always add more, but using too much initially may make hair feel heavy. Most users find this amount provides extreme hold throughout the day.

AG Welding Paste works best on damp to dry hair. For maximum extreme hold and definition, apply it to towel-dried or air-dried hair rather than soaking wet hair. If your hair is very wet, the paste may not set as effectively. You can rework it throughout the day by dampening your fingers slightly and reshaping as needed.
