Frequently Asked Questions

What are the main ingredients in Clairol Professional Clear Ice Kaleidocolors Lightener?

Clairol Professional Clear Ice Kaleidocolors Lightener contains ammonia-based lightening agents combined with conditioning ingredients designed to minimize damage during the bleaching process. The formula includes conditioning polymers to help maintain hair integrity. For a complete ingredient list, please refer to the product packaging or consult with your Clairol Professional distributor, as formulations may vary by region.

Is Clairol Professional Clear Ice Kaleidocolors safe for sensitive scalps?

While Clairol Professional lighteners are formulated for professional use, individuals with sensitive scalps should perform a patch test 24-48 hours before application. If you experience scalp irritation, redness, or burning during the patch test, do not proceed with full application. Those with known allergies to hair dyes or ammonia should consult a dermatologist before use.

Can I use Clear Ice Kaleidocolors Lightener on previously colored or damaged hair?

Clairol Professional Clear Ice Kaleidocolors Lightener can be used on previously colored hair, but caution is necessary on severely damaged or compromised hair. We recommend having a professional stylist assess your hair condition first. Multiple applications or lightening previously color-treated hair may require additional conditioning treatments between applications.
