Good Product!

Love this hair treatment

My hair is nornally very dry and frizzy. This treatment softened my hair, gave it a nice shine and tamed the frizzy fly aways hairs.

I have color-treated hair and I use this after shampooing with K-Pak Color Therapy Shampoo as a regular conditioner, alternating it with K-Pak Color Therapy Conditioner. Keeps my hair soft and moisturized.

Can someone describe the smell to me? Also, did the jar come with a seal underneath the lid? I purchased this product online and i 'm not sure if they sent me an authentic jar. It was unsealed and it has a very flowery almost perfume-like scent to it. Any help would be great. THanks!

Hi, the smell is in fact very floral or perfume-like as you say. It is quite strong. Even for me, and I am one to love products that smell like cologne. I myself wasn\'t very fond of it at the begining but it grew on me. Specialy because of how nice it makes your hair smell after it is dried. The jar does not have a seal underneath the lid. None of the jars that come with a pump already inside do. At least not in my expirience. The color of the product itselft is kind of peachy. I can see where you might\'ve been thrown off by the scent, but it seems to me like you got the real thing. By the way, the product is awesome. I love it. It\'s done wonders for my very damaged, overprocessed hair. Hope this helps.

How often is it to be used? My hair is curly wavy long and the hair is fine.It has lost most of its elasticity from coloring.(Temporary color)I color it every 2 months.

I had been highlighting my hair for over 10 years. Finally my hair gave out and it was snapping off midshaft all over my head. It was pretty scary to witness the hair snapping off so easily especially when wet! I\'ve always been the kind of person to take proper care of my hair with treatments but this was a new symptom for my hair. I did a little research and found out that my hair was snapping due to loss of protein and that I needed a treatment to restructure my weak and damaged hair. I opted for this treatment and it really did the work just realize it won\'t be overnight. I use this treatment once a week and keep it in for about 5-10 minutes. I also use the joico Color therapy shampoo and conditioner. My hair is finally back to normal and healthy.

how often can i use this product. can i use with everywash?

You can use it every time you wash, but I don\'t think it\'s necessary... My hair is fairly damaged, by bleaching and heat styling and I wash my hair nearly every day. I use this every other time I wash, and just use the Joico Color Therapy or Color Endure conditioner the other days. My hair stylist actually recommended that I use the Revitaluxe only every other day too.

I ordered Joico K-Pak Bio Advanced restorative treatment product a few weeks ago. I have tried every product on the face of the earth LOL. But I must say that me hair was shinier, had more body and bounce and looked and felt like I had just left the salon. I\'m in my 50\'s with mixed gray african american hair, which if you do not know has a wirey mine of its own. It was silky and managable. I love this product!!
