Step 3- Apply immediately to hair. Take sections thin enough to ensure even product distribution using a bowl and brush application. If product comes into contact with any virgin hair, there will be no effect. Step 4- Once the hair is thoroughly saturated, place a plastic cap over hair and process under medium heat for 20 minutes. Step 5- Once processed, take the client directly from the heat source to the shampoo area. Thoroughly shampoo the hair twice from scalp to ends with PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Clarifying Shampoo. (It is important to note that during this shampooing process, you are in essence shampooing the color molecule from the hair. For the first shampoo, it is advisable to massage the product into a full lather and place a plastic cap over the hair for 2-3 minutes at room temperature. Manipulate the hair, not the scalp, as if you were working a stain out of a piece of cloth for 3-5 minutes.
