I'm a level 5 with 50% grey hair. I used Color10 in shade 11-2 with 40 volume and decided to leave it on 30 minutes as that was the longest time the instructions said it could be on the hair. I was expecting a brassy level 7-8 with grey showing, I would then "tone" this with 9-12 in 20 volume. 11-2 covered my grey/salt to a light champagne blonde and my brown/pepper to a level 8-9 beige. Amazing. No need to tone at all. I will add my hair is baby fine so it may have taken the color better than most. I did not expect the lift let alone the grey coverage.
