Easy to apply and comb through. Keeps my hair tinted copper. Makes my hair soft.
Meh... It's ok... I don't really notice a difference in color in my dyed red hair
I got my brown hair professionally dyed natural coppery red in March (it's August now... so it's been a while!) and have had the roots done once in between. The red is pretty faded and the roots are maybe 1/2" long right now but I don't want to get it re-dyed until September since it will just fade more if I go outside in the summer. So, I got this conditioner. I didn't expect it to cover the roots, but I did expect it to add a little bit of tint back into my hair and was hoping it would make it look a little more coppery. I tried it on towel-dried hair following the instructions to the letter and I saw zero difference... so the next time I tried it on dry hair and waited longer than the instructions say. I saw a TINY bit of difference that time - my hair was maybe a teeny bit more coppery, but I was looking for it. I don't think anyone else would notice. I'll continue to use it because I paid for it and it's not bad, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase.
Brightens and highlights copper toned hair- excellent!
I love Davine's conditioners and masks, especially the NouNou mask, so it was hard to not use NouNou when I first tried the Alchemic Copper. My hair has been colored for so long that I need NouNou level conditioning! So I cheated: I left the Alchemic Copper on my hair (actually for about an hour) then added some NouNou Mask to my hair and waited another 30 minutes. The results were even better than I had hoped. I love the shine and color highlights; it definitely amps up the copper tones in a very natural way. Do not expect "bright" (read "fake") color, and don't expect it to cover roots growing in. But definitely gives visible results. Will continue using this.
