Frequently Asked Questions

Is KeraCare Oil Moisturizer safe for all hair types?

Yes, KeraCare Oil Moisturizer with Jojoba Oil is formulated to work with various hair types, including textured, curly, and coily hair. However, those with very fine or thin hair should use it sparingly to avoid buildup. If you have specific scalp sensitivities, we recommend performing a patch test before full application.

What does jojoba oil do for hair and why is it in this product?

Jojoba oil closely mimics the scalp's natural sebum, making it excellent for moisturizing without leaving a greasy residue. It penetrates the hair shaft to hydrate from within, reduces frizz, and helps seal the hair cuticle. This ingredient is key in KeraCare Oil Moisturizer because it provides lightweight, lasting moisture that supports healthy, manageable hair.

How often should I use KeraCare Oil Moisturizer?

For best results, use KeraCare Oil Moisturizer 2-3 times per week as a leave-in conditioner or styling aid, depending on your hair's moisture needs. Those with drier hair may benefit from more frequent use, while those with oilier hair may use it less often. Apply to mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the scalp unless needed for hydration.
