I have used so many great flat irons but when my hairdresser found this one - she and I are totally amazed at how wonderful it is. You can adjust the temperature as low as you would like or as high as you would like though I always use it on 320 and my hair looks great. It makes my hair look like silk for days. There is really no need to put it on a higher temperature when a low temperature does the job. Since I started using this flat iron, my hair always looks wonderful - if it is 2 or 3 days after I wash it. Occassionally on the 3rd day I may touch it up a little bit if necessary but usually it is not necessary unless my hair gets totally soaking wet after working out. Otherwise, I let it dry and it is good to go. I normally have wavy and kind of frizzy hair except when I flat iron it with the Croc wet to dry. I do not use it on wet hair - I can't say I am that brave, but it is a wonderful flat iron and it does not burn my hair it just makes it shinier than ever and so silky soft. I have used Sedu, Chi, Paul Mitchell, T3 just to name a few. The Croc beats them all hands down. I recommend this flat iron. You will love it.!
