After shampooing, apply a liberal amount to hair and detangle with a wide tooth comb. Rinse thoroughly. For optimal results, allow the chemical properties in the ingredients to penetrate the hair shaft by allowing it to stay on for one to two minutes and then using a finger comb to detangle wet hair.
