This is sulfate free but has a strong fragrance and does not have very strong violet toning capabilities to reduce brass in the hair color compared to some other purple shampoos. I recommend tressa or joico.
better ones out there
This does decrease brassy tones in my blonde hair, nut it is not as strong as other purple shampoos on the market. Even just looking at it, it is a medium purple color. I always use this after shampooing once with my reg sulfate free.shampoo. I fi d it doesn't clean the best on its own. It is sulfate free, but itisloaded with perfume. It is overpowering and obnoxious.
